Southeast Medical Registry provides professional cancer registry outsourcing to
hospitals and health care facilities. Hospitals and health care facilities are
legally mandated to collect cancer data (click here for a copy of that law).
Focusing exclusively on cancer registry services and abstracting allows us to
deliver on-site, high quality cancer data collection, management and data/results
reporting in half of the time at a fraction of the cost. Any backlogs of cancer
data collection can also be completed.
Adhering to all HIPAA and state cancer registry security and confidentiality
standards, the SMR team interacts well with your staff members and physicians
throughout the coordination of ACoS facility elements. Working with Southeast
Medical Registry means you also benefit from timely compilation, meeting the
requirements of the ACoS survey, enhanced marketing capabilities, greater
regulatory/accrediting agency compliance and preventing blight against licensure
in addition to reduced costs.
Committed to handling transitions with health care facilities as smoothly and
sensitively as possible, we offer your complete cancer registry outsourcing
solution. Our leadership team currently manages 28 facility cancer registry
services, five of which are even ACoS approved. Headquartered in Atlanta,
Georgia, Southeast Medical Registry serves hospitals and health care facilities
throughout the southeastern region.
COMMITTED TO FIGHTING CANCER
Research is vital to eradicating cancer on a long-term basis. Determining the
trends and staging of the disease by analyzing cancer patient statistics plays a
critical role in that process. With more stringent state legal requirements,
hospitals face mandatory compilation of cancer patient information from medical
records. Southeast Medical Registry provides the most effective cancer registry
outsourcing solution with its specialized expertise and higher purpose of
fighting the disease. A portion of the company's proceeds is also donated to the
American Cancer Society.
